"You give them something to eat" – Jesus of Nazareth
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) helps connect people directly to the farmers growing their food. Members purchase a farm share in the spring and pick-up produce weekly throughout the growing season.
For an average of about $25 a pick-up, you get an ample supply of staple vegetables paired with a diverse mix of unique seasonal produce.
CSA season runs 22 weeks, from the first week in June thru the last week in October. Onsite pick up is Thursdays from 4-7pm @ 70 W. Delavan
*if none of these levels are affordable to you contact us to find out more about the availability of subsidies that can further reduce the cost, as well as alternative ways of giving to cover the cost of your share.
We ask for a $100 deposit when you sign up. We ask for remainder of your cost to be paid by May 1st. Also available to a limited number of members, we have a monthly payment plan ($100 deposit at sign-up, then five equal monthly payments June – October).
Any of your payments can be made online (you will be sent the link once you sign-up). We accept credit cards and EBT/SNAP Benefits (food stamps) for monthly payments at CSA farm share pick-up. You can also pay by check, make out to “5 Loaves Farm” and send to: 140 Dewitt St., Buffalo, NY 14213
Donate to partner with a family in our neighborhood in order to provide them with healthy food. Our CSA sponsorship program allows for low-income families to pay what they can for a CSA share, while your donation helps make up the difference.
